Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted I Observed M.W.: 39 I 47 kDa Uniprot ID: O95136 Background: Sphingosine 1-phosphate receptor 2 (S1PR2) is also known as Endothelial differentiation G-protein coupled receptor 5 (EDG5), which is a multi-pass cell membrane protein belonging to the G protein-coupled receptor 1 family. S1PR2 is a receptor for the lysosphingolipid sphingosine 1-phosphate (S1P). S1P is a bioactive lysophospholipid that elicits diverse physiological effect on most types of cells and tissues. When expressed in rat HTC4 hepatoma cells, S1PR2 is capable of mediating S1P-induced cell proliferation and suppression of apoptosis.
