Background:

LNX1 mediates ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of NUMB. LNX1 accepts ubiquitin from an E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme in the form of a thioester and then directly transfers the ubiquitin to targeted substrates. LNX1 mediates ubiquitination of isoform p66 and isoform p72 of NUMB, but not that of isoform p71 or isoform p65.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing C-terminal region of human LNX1. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.
