Background:

EDA2R is the receptor for EDA isoform A2, but not for EDA isoform A1. EDA2R mediates the activation of the NF-kappa-B and JNK pathways. Activation seems to be mediated by binding to TRAF3 and TRAF6. Mutations in EDA give rise to a clinical syndrome characterized by loss of hair, sweat glands, and teeth.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing C-terminal region of human EDA2R. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. 

Storage Buffer and Condition:

Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN₃. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt.
