R2601-2 - SIRT7 (C) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted | Observed MW: 45 kDa Uniprot ID: Q9NRC8 Background: Sirtuin-7 (SIRT7) is a member of the sirtuin family of proteins, homologs to the yeast Sir2 protein. Members of the sirtuin family are characterized by a sirtuin core domain and grouped into four classes. The functions of human sirtuins have not yet been determined; however, yeast sirtuin proteins are known to regulate epigenetic gene silencing and suppress recombination of rDNA. Studies suggest that the human sirtuins may function as intracellular regulatory proteins with mono-ADP-ribosyltransferase activity [provided by RefSeq]. Other Names: NAD-dependent protein deacetylase sirtuin-7, Regulatory protein SIR2 homolog 7, SIR2-like protein 7, SIR2L7 Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the C-terminal region of human SIRT7. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Tested Applications: WB: 1:1,000-1:3,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications. Species Specificity: Human Product Data: Fig 1. Western blot of total cell extracts from(A, C) human Jurkat, (B, D) human HeLa; using 2 independent Abs against 2 distinct regions of humna SIRT7 at RT for 2 h. |
