Background:
Fucosyltransferase 4 (FUT4) is a single-pass trypt II membrane protein located in Golgi apparatus. FUT4 belongs to the glycosyltransferase 10 family, which is involved in protein glycosylation. FUT4 transfers fucose to N-acetyllactosamine polysaccharides to generate fucosylated carbohydrate structures. FUT4 may catalyze alpha-1,3 glycosidic linkages involved in the expression of Lewis X/SSEA-1 and VIM-2 antigens.
Other Names:
Alpha-(1,3)-fucosyltransferase, ELAM-1 ligand fucosyltransferase, Fucosyltransferase 4, Fucosyltransferase IV, Fuc-TIV, FucT-IV, Galactoside 3-L-fucosyltransferase, ELFT, FCT3A
Source and Purity:
Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing C-terminal region of human FUT4. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.
Storage Buffer and Condition:
Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt.
Species Specificity:
Human
Tested Applications:
WB: 1:1,000-1:3,000 (detect endogenous protein*)
