R2355-2 - SIRT4 (C) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted I Observed M.W.: 35 I 40 kDa Uniprot ID: Q9Y6E7 Background: SIRT4 is a member of the sirtuin family of proteins, homologs to the yeast Sir2 protein. Members of the sirtuin family are characterized by a sirtuin core domain and grouped into four classes. The functions of human sirtuins have not yet been determined; however, yeast sirtuin proteins are known to regulate epigenetic gene silencing and suppress recombination of rDNA. Studies suggest that the human sirtuins may function as intracellular regulatory proteins with mono-ADP-ribosyltransferase activity. Other Names: NAD-dependent protein deacetylase sirtuin-4, NAD-dependent ADP-ribosyltransferase sirtuin-4, Regulatory protein SIR2 homolog 4, SIR2-like protein 4, SIR2L4 Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing C-terminal region of human SIRT4. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human, Mouse Tested Applications: WB: 1:1,000-1:3,000 (detect endogenous protein*)
*: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications. Product Data: Fig 1. Western blot of total cell extracts from(A) mouse brain, (B) mouse thymus, (C) human HeLa, (D) human Jurkat; using anti-SIRT4 (C) (R2355-2) at RT for 2 h. |
