Background:

Catenin (cadherin-associated protein) delta 1 (CTNND1) is a member of the Armadillo protein family, which functions in cell adhesion and signal transduction.  It binds to and inhibits the transcriptional repressor ZBTB33, which may lead to the activation of the Wnt signaling pathway.  CTNND1 may associate with and regulate the cell adhesion properties of both C- and E-cadherin.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the middle region of human CTNND1.  Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.
