R1714-1 - SRA1 (N) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB
Predicted I Observed M.W.: 26 kDa Uniprot ID: Q9HD15 Background: Steroid receptor RNA activator 1 (SRA1) was initially defined as a non-coding RNA, which is a coactivator for several nuclear receptors (NRs) and is associated with breast cancer. It has now been found that SRA1 is involved in the regulation of many NR and non-NR activities, including metabolism, adipogenesis and chromatin organization. Both long non-coding and protein-coding RNAs are transcribed from the SRA1 gene, and they represent alternatively spliced transcript variants. The long non-coding RNA transcripts interact with a variety of proteins, including SRA1 itself. SRA1 acts as a transcriptional repressor by binding to the non-coding RNA [provided by RefSeq]. Other Names: Steroid receptor RNA activator 1, Steroid receptor RNA activator protein, SRAP, PP7684, STRAA1 Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human SRA1. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human Tested Applications: WB: 1:1,000-1:3,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications. Product Data: Fig 1. Western blot of total cell extracts from (A) human HeLa, (B) human Jurkat; using anti- SRA1 (N) (R1714-1) at RT for 2 h. |
