Background:

ERCC3 is an ATP-dependent DNA helicase that functions in nucleotide excision repair and complements xeroderma pigmentosum group B mutations. ERCC3 is also the 89 kDa subunit of basal transcription factor 2 (TFIIH) and thus functions in class II transcription [provided by RefSeq].

Other Names:

TFIIH basal transcription factor complex helicase XPB subunit, Basic transcription factor 2 89 kDa subunit, BTF2 p89, DNA excision repair protein ERCC-3, DNA repair protein complementing XP-B cells, TFIIH basal transcription factor complex 89 kDa subunit, TFIIH 89 kDa subunit, TFIIH p89, Xeroderma pigmentosum group B-complementing protein, BTF2, GTF2H, RAD25, TFIIH, XPB, XPBC

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human ERCC3. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.

Storage Buffer and Condition:

Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt.

Species Specificity:

Human

Tested Applications:

WB: 1:1,000-1:3,000 (detect endogenous protein*)

*: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications.
