Background:

CD99 antigen is a single-pass type I membrane protein belonging to the CD99 family. CD99 is involved in T-cell adhesion processes and in spontaneous rosette formation with erythrocytes. CD99 plays a role in a late step of leukocyte extravasation helping leukocytes to overcome the endothelial basement membrane. CD99 acts at the same site as, but independently of, PECAM1. CD99 is involved in T-cell adhesion processes.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human CD99. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. 

Storage Buffer and Condition:

Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN₃. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt.
