R1814-4 - NKX2-2 (C1) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted I Observed M.W.: 30 I 45 kDa Uniprot ID: O95096 Background: Homeobox protein NKX2-2 is a nuclear protein that belongs to the NK-2 homeobox family and contains a homeobox DNA-binding domain. NKX2-2 acts as a transcriptional activator that is required for the maintenance of NEUROD1 expression in the horomone-producing endocrine cells of the pancreas. NKX2-2 may be involved in specifying diencephalic neuromeric boundaries, and in controlling the expression of genes that play a role in axonal guidance. NKX2-2 associates with chromatin at the NEUROD1 promoter region and binds to a subset of consensus elements within the NEUROD1 promoter. Other Names: Homeobox protein Nkx-2.2, Homeobox protein NK-2 homolog B, NKX2.2, NKX2B Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the C-terminal region of human NKX2-2. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human Tested Applications: WB: 1:1,000-1:3,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications. Product Data: Fig 1. Western blot of total cell extracts fromA) human HeLa, B) human Jurkat; using anti-NKX2-2 (C1) (R1814-4) at RT for 2 h. |
