Background:

ZDHHC17 is palmitoyltransferase specific for a subset of neuronal proteins, including SNAP25, DLG4/PSD95, GAD2, SYT1 and HD. ZDHHC17 palmitoylates MPP1 in erythrocytes. ZDHHC17 may be involved in the sorting or targeting of critical proteins involved in the initiating events of endocytosis at the plasma membrane. ZDHHC17 has transforming activity. ZDHHC17 mediates Mg²⁺ transport.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing N-terminal region of human ZDHHC17. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. 

Storage Buffer and Condition:

Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN₃. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt.
