Background:

Meiotic recombination protein SPO11 is a nuclear protein that belongs to the TOP6A family. SPO11 is required for meiotic recombination.  SPO11 mediates DNA cleavage that forms the double-strand breaks (DSB) that initiate meiotic recombination.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the C-terminal region of human SPO11. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.
