Background:

THAP9 (DNA transposase THAP9) is able to mediate mobilization of P-elements when transfected in Drosophila. Active transposase that specifically recognizes the bipartite 5'-TXXGGGX(A/T)-3' consensus motif and mediates transposition.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing middle region of human THAP9. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.
