R1566-2 - ATXN1 (C) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted I Observed M.W.: 87 I 100 kDa Uniprot ID: P54253 Background: Ataxin-1 (ATXN1) belongs to the ATXN1 family and is a chromatin-binding factor that represses Notch signaling in the absence of Notch intracellular domain by acting as a CBF1 corepressor. ATXN1 binds to the HEY promoter and might assist, along with NCOR2, RBPJ-mediated repression. ATXN1 binds RNA in vitro. Furthermore, ATXN1 may be involved in RNA metabolism. The expansion of the polyglutamine tract may alter this function. Other Names: Ataxin-1, Spinocerebellar ataxia type 1 protein, ATX1, SCA1 Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing C-terminal region of human ATXN1. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human, Mouse Tested Applications: WB: 1:1,000-1:3,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications. Product Data: Fig 1. Western blot of total cell extractsfrom mouse thymus; using anti-ATXN1 (C) (R1566-2) at RT for 2 h. |
