M0013-1 - CD86 (N) Antibody, Mouse Monoclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted M.W.: 38 kDa Uniprot ID: P42081 Isotype: mouse IgG1 Clone: 13D7
Background:
T-lymphocyte activation antigen CD86 is a receptor involved in the costimulatory signal essential for T-lymphocyte proliferation and interleukin-2 production. CD86 binds to CD28 or CTLA-4 and may play a critical role in the early events of T-cell activation and costimulation of naive T-cells, such as deciding between immunity and anergy. CD86 isoform 2 interferes with the formation of CD86 clusters, and thus acts as a negative regulator of T-cell activation.
Other Names:
CD28LG2, Activation B7-2 antigen, B70, BU63, CTLA-4 counter-receptor B7.2, FUN-1
Source and Purity:
Mouse monoclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human CD86. Antibodies were purified by Caprylic Acid- Ammonium Sulfate precipitation. Storage Buffer and Condition:
Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 40% Glycerol, 0.02% Thimerosal. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt.
Species Specificity:
Human
Tested Applications:
WB: 1:1,000-1:5,000 (detect endogenous protein*)
*: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications.
