R3071-1 - AHR (N1) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted | Observed MW: 96 kDa Uniprot ID: P35869 Background: Aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AHR) is a ligand-activated transcription factor involved in the regulation of biological responses to planar aromatic hydrocarbons. AHR has been shown to regulate xenobiotic-metabolizing enzymes such as cytochrome P450. Its ligands included a variety of aromatic hydrocarbons. AHR binds to the XRE promoter region of target genes, and activates the expression of multiple phase I and II xenobiotic chemical metabolizing enzyme genes (such as the CYP1A1 gene). AHR mediates biochemical and toxic effects of halogenated aromatic hydrocarbons. AHR is involved in cell-cycle regulation, and is likely to play an important role in the development and maturation of many tissues. Other Names: Aryl hydrocarbon receptor, Ah receptor, AhR, Class E basic helix-loop-helix protein 76, bHLHe76, BHLHE76 Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human AHR. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human, Mouse Tested Applications: WB: 1:1,000-1:3,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications. Product Data: Fig 1. Western blot of total cell extracts fromA) mouse brain, B) mouse thymus, C) human HeLa, D) human Jurkat; using anti- AHR (N1) (R3071-1) at RT for 2 h. |
