|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted | Observed MW: 25 | 27 kDa Uniprot ID: P21926 Background: CD9 antigen (CD9) is a multi-pass membrane protein belonging to the tetraspanin (TM4SF) family. CD9 is involved in platelet activation and aggregation and regulates paranodal junction formation. CD9 is involved in cell adhesion, cell motility and tumor metastasis. CD9 is required for sperm-egg fusion. Other Names: CD9 antigen, Cell growth-inhibiting gene 2 protein, Leukocyte antigen MIC3, Motility-related protein, MRP-1, Tetraspanin-29, Tspan-29, p24, CD9, MIC3, TSPAN29, GIG2 Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the middle region of human CD9. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human, Mouse Tested Applications: WB: 1:1,000-1:3,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications. Product Data: Fig 1. Western blot of total cell extractsfrom A) mouse brain, B) mouse thymus; using anti-CD9 (M) (R0981-2) at RT for 2 h. |
