Background:

CD84 is a single-pass type I membrane protein that plays a role as an adhesion receptor functioning by homophilic interactions and by clustering. CD84 recruits SH2 domain-containing proteins SH2D1A/SAP. Homophilic interactions enhance interferon gamma/IFNG secretion in lymphocytes and induce platelet stimulation via a SH2D1A/SAP-dependent pathway. CD84 may serve as a marker for hematopoietic progenitor cells.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the middle region of human CD84. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. 

Storage Buffer and Condition:

Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN₃. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt.
