R0890-2 - MED1 (C) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted I Observed M.W.: 168 I 220 kDa Uniprot ID: Q15648 Background: Mediator of RNA polymerase II transcription subunit 1 (MED1) is a component of the Mediator complex, a coactivator involved in the regulated transcription of nearly all RNA polymerase II-dependent genes. Mediator functions as a bridge to convey information from gene-specific regulatory proteins to the basal RNA polymerase II transcription machinery. Mediator is recruited to promoters by direct interactions with regulatory proteins and serves as a scaffold for the assembly of a functional preinitiation complex with RNA polymerase II and the general transcription factors. Other Names: Mediator of RNA polymerase II transcription subunit 1, Activator-recruited cofactor 205 kDa component, ARC205, Mediator complex subunit 1, Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-binding protein, PBP, PPAR-binding protein, Thyroid hormone receptor-associated protein complex 220 kDa component, Trap220, Thyroid receptor-interacting protein 2, TR-interacting protein 2, TRIP-2, Vitamin D receptor-interacting protein complex component DRIP205, p53 regulatory protein RB18A, ARC205, CRSP1, CRSP200, DRIP205, DRIP230, PBP, PPARBP, PPARGBP, RB18A, TRAP220, TRIP2 Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the C-terminal region of human MED1. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human, Mouse Tested Applications: WB: 1:1,000-1:3,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications.
