R1291-1 - SOCS3 (N) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted I Observed M.W.: 25 I 28 kDa Uniprot ID: O14543 Background: SOCS family proteins form part of a classical negative feedback system that regulates cytokine signal transduction. SOCS3 is involved in negative regulation of cytokines that signal through the JAK/STAT pathway. SOCS3 inhibits cytokine signal transduction by binding to tyrosine kinase receptors, including gp130, LIF, erythropoietin, insulin, IL12, GCSF and leptin receptors. SOCS3 suppresses fetal liver erythropoiesis. It also regulates onset and maintenance of allergic responses mediated by T-helper type 2 cells. SOCS3 regulates IL-6 signaling in vivo. Other Names: Suppressor of cytokine signaling 3, SOCS-3, Cytokine-inducible SH2 protein 3, CIS-3, STAT-induced STAT inhibitor 3, SSI-3, CIS3, SSI3 Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human SOCS3. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human, Mouse Tested Applications: WB: 1:1,000-1:3,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications. Product Data: Fig 1. Western blot of total cell extractsfrom A) mouse brain; B) mouse thymus; using anti-SOCS3 (N) (R1291-1) at RT for 2 h. |
