Background:

Signal transducer and activator of transcription 4 (STAT4) belongs to the transcription factor STAT family. STAT4 carries out a dual function: signal transduction and activation of transcription. It is involved in IL12 signaling. STAT4 variations are associated with disease susceptibility to systemic lupus erythematous and rheumatoid arthritis.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human STAT4. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.
