Background:

NACHT, LRR and PYD domains-containing protein 6 (NLRP6) belongs to the NLRP family and may contribute to arginine-vasopressin (AVP)-mediated regulation of renal salt-water balance, glucose and lipid metabolism, apoptosis, and/or cell cycle. NLRP6 binds arginine-vasopressin but not angiotensin II and acts as an arginine-vasopressin V2 receptor. Additionally, NLRP6 plays a role in modulating inflammatory responses in the colon to allow recovery from intestinal epithelial damage and limit tumorigenic potential.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the C-terminal region of mouse NLRP6. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. 

Storage Buffer and Condition:

Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN₃. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt.
