R0976-2 - AICDA (C) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted | Observed MW: 24 kDa Uniprot ID: Q9GZX7 Background: Activation-induced cytidine deaminase (AICDA) belongs to the cytidine and deoxycytidylate deaminase family. AICDA is a single-stranded DNA-specific cytidine deaminase. AICDA is involved in somatic hypermutation, gene conversion, and class-switch recombination in B-lymphocytes. AICDA is required for several crucial steps of B-cell terminal differentiation necessary for efficient antibody responses and may also play a role in the epigenetic regulation of gene expression by participating in DNA demethylation. Other Names: Activation-induced cytidine deaminase, Cytidine aminohydrolase, AID Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing C-terminal region of human AICDA. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human, Mouse Tested Applications: WB: 1:1,000-1:3,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications. Product Data: Fig 1. Western blot of total cell extracts fromA) mouse brain, B) mouse thymus; using anti-AICDA (C) (R0976-2) at RT for 2 h. |
