Background:

Zinc finger DHHC domain-containing protein 2 (ZDHHC2) is a multi-pass membrane protein that belongs to the DHHC palmitoyltransferase family. ZDHHC2 contains 1 DHHC-type zinc finger, and it is the palmitoyltransferase specific for GAP43 and DLG4/PSD95. ZDHHC2 is ubiquitously expressed, and reduced expression is observed in colorectal cancers with liver metastasis. Mutations in ZDHHC2 are found in hepatocellular carcinoma and colorectal cancer.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human ZDHHC2. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.
