R2265-1 - PPARA (N) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted I Observed M.W.: 52 kDa Uniprot ID: Q07869 Background: Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor alpha (PPARA) belongs to the nuclear hormone receptor family and the NR1 subfamily. PPARA is activated by oleylethanolamide, a naturally occurring lipid that regulates satiety. PPARA servers as a receptor for peroxisome proliferators such as hypolipidemic drugs and fatty acids. PPARA regulates the peroxisomal beta-oxidation pathway of fatty acids. Additionally, PPARA functions as transcription activator for the ACOX1 and P450 genes. Other Names: Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor alpha, Nuclear receptor subfamily 1 group C member 1, PPAR-alpha, NR1C1, PPAR Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human PPARA. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human Tested Applications: WB: 1:1,000-1:3,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications. Product Data: Fig 1. Western blot of total cell extracts from A) human HeLa; B) human Jurkat; using anti-PPARA (N) (R2265-1) at RT for 2 h. |
