Background:

STK11 is a member of the serine/threonine kinase family, and it regulates cell polarity and functions as a tumor suppressor. Mutations in the STK11 gene have been associated with Peutz-Jeghers syndrome, an autosomal dominant disorder characterized by the growth of polyps in the gastrointestinal tract, pigmented macules on the skin and mouth, and other neoplasms.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the C-terminal region of mouse STK11. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.
