M0015-1b - PIAS1 (C) Antibody, Mouse Monoclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ml Application: WB Predicted M.W.: 72 kDa Uniprot ID: O88907 Isotype: mouse IgG1 Clone: 4D11 Background: PIAS1 is a member of the PIAS [protein inhibitor of activated STAT (signal transducer and activator of transcription)] family of transcriptional modulators. PIAS1 functions as an E3 small ubiquitin-like modifier (SUMO) ligase. It stabilizes the interaction between UBE2I and the substrate, and functions as a SUMO-tethering factor. PIAS1 plays an important role in the transcriptional regulation of numerous cellular pathways, including STAT, NF-kB, p53 and the steroid hormone signaling pathways. Recent studies revealed that PIAS1 is an important regulator for innate immunity, inflammatory cytokine signaling and regulatory T cell differentiation. Other Names: Protein inhibitor of activated STAT1, Pias1, DEAD/H box-binding protein 1, Ddxbp1 Source and Purity: Mouse monoclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the C-terminal region of mouse PIAS1. Antibodies were purified by Caprylic Acid- Ammonium Sulfate precipitation. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 40% Glycerol, 0.02% Thimerosal. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Mouse Tested Applications: WB: 1:1,000-1:5,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications.
Product Data: Fig 1. Western blot of total cell extracts from mouse thymus, using Abs (A: M0015-1b; B: M0015-1c) at RT for 2 h.
