R2890-2 - ATF4 (C) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted I Observed M.W.: 39 kDa Uniprot ID: P18848 Background: Cyclic AMP-dependent transcription factor ATF-4 is a transcriptional activator belonging to the bZIP family. ATF4 binds the cAMP response element (CRE) (consensus: 5'-GTGACGT[AC][AG]-3'), a sequence present in many viral and cellular promoters. ATF4 also cooperates with FOXO1 in osteoblasts to regulate glucose homeostasis through suppression of beta-cell production and decrease in insulin production. Other Names: Cyclic AMP-dependent transcription factor ATF-4, CREB2, TXREB, cAMP-dependent transcription factor ATF-4, Activating transcription factor 4, Cyclic AMP-responsive element-binding protein 2, CREB-2, cAMP-responsive element-binding protein 2, DNA-binding protein TAXREB67, Tax-responsive enhancer element-binding protein 67, TaxREB67 Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the C-terminal region of human ATF4. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human, Mouse Tested Applications: WB: 1:1,000-1:3,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications. Product Data: Fig 1. Western blot of total cell extracts fromA) mouse brain, B) mouse thymus, C) human Jurkat; using anti-ATF4 (C) (R2890-2) at RT for 2 h. |
