Background:

Forkhead box protein K2 (FOXK2) recognizes the core sequence 5'-TAAACA-3'. FOXK2 binds to NFAT-like motifs (purine-rich) in the IL2 promoter. FOXK2 also binds to HIV-1 long terminal repeat. Additionally, FOXK2 may be involved in both positive and negative regulation of important viral and cellular promoter elements.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human FOXK2. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.
