Background:

Eomesodermin homolog (EOMES) functions as a transcriptional activator playing a crucial role during development. EOMES functions in trophoblast differentiation and later in gastrulation, regulating both mesoderm delamination and endoderm specification. EOMES plays a role in brain development and is required for the specification and the proliferation of the intermediate progenitor cells and their progeny in the cerebral cortex. EOMES is also involved in the differentiation of CD8+ T-cells during immune response regulating the expression of lytic effector genes. EOMES is expressed in CD8+ T-cells and is up-regulated in CD8+ T-cells upon activation.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the C-terminal region of mouse EOMES. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. 

Storage Buffer and Condition:

Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN₃. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt.
