Background:

Bone morphogenetic protein 8A (BMP8A) belongs to the TGF-beta family, which Induces cartilage and bone formation. BMP8A may be the osteoinductive factor responsible for the phenomenon of epithelial osteogenesis. BMP8A also plays a role in calcium regulation and bone homeostasis.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of mouse BMP8A. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.
