R0277-1 - ESR1 (C) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted M.W.: 66 kDa Uniprot ID: P03372
Background: Estrogen receptor 1 (ESR1) belongs to the nuclear hormone receptor family, NR3 subfamily. ESR1 is a ligand-activated transcription factor composed of several domains important for hormone binding, DNA binding and activation of transcription. ESR1 localizes to the nucleus where it may form a homodimer or a heterodimer with estrogen receptor 2. Estrogen and its receptors are essential for sexual development and reproductive function, and they also play a role in other tissues such as bone. In addition, estrogen receptors are involved in pathological processes including breast cancer, endometrial cancer, and osteoporosis. Other Names: Estrogen receptor, ER, ER-alpha, Estradiol receptor, Nuclear receptor subfamily 3 group A member 1, ESR, NR3A1 Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the C-terminal region of human ESR1. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human Tested Applications: WB: 1:1,000-1:5,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications.
