Background:

Heat shock protein HSP 90-alpha (HSP90AA1) is a molecular chaperone that promotes the maturation, structural maintenance and proper regulation of specific target proteins involved in cell cycle control and signal transduction. HSP90AA1 undergoes a functional cycle that is linked to its ATPase activity. This cycle probably induces conformational changes in the target proteins, thereby causing their activation. HSP90AA1 interacts dynamically with various co-chaperones that modulate its substrate recognition, ATPase cycle and chaperone function.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the C-terminal region of human HSP90AA1. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. 

Storage Buffer and Condition:

Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt.
