Background:

Thymocyte selection-associated high mobility group box protein TOX contains a HMG box DNA binding domain. HMG boxes are found in many eukaryotic proteins involved in chromatin assembly, transcription and replication. TOX may function to regulate T-cell development. TOX is up-regulated during the early stages of T-cell differentiation, while down-regulated during later stages of maturation of CD4 and CD8 T-cells.

Other Names:

Thymocyte selection-associated high mobility group box protein TOX, Thymus high mobility group box protein TOX

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of mouse TOX. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.

Species Specificity:

Human, Mouse

Tested Applications:

WB: 1:1,000-1:5,000 (detect endogenous protein*)
