Background:

Netrin-G1 and netrin-G2, belonging to a vertebrate-specific subfamily of the netrin family, distribute on axons of distinct neuronal pathways. Netrin G2 encodes a GPI-linked membrane protein which is a member of the netrin/UNC6 family. Netrin G2 promotes neurite outgrowth of both axons and dendrites. There are 2 isofroms produced by alternative splicing. The protein possesses a number of potential N-glycosylation sites.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the C-terminal region of human NTNG2. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.
