R1157-2 - TOPORS (C) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted M.W.: 119 kDa Uniprot ID: Q9NS56 Background: TOPORS functions as an E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase and an E3 SUMO1-protein ligase. It is a probable tumor suppressor involved in cell growth, cell proliferation and apoptosis. TOPORS regulates p53/TP53 stability through ubiquitin-dependent degradation. It may regulate chromatin modification through sumoylation of several chromatin modification-associated proteins. It may be involved in DNA damage-induced cell death through IKBKE sumoylation. Defects in TOPORS are the cause of retinitis pigmentosa type 31 (RP31). Other Names: E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase Topors, SUMO1-protein E3 ligase Topors, Topoisomerase I-binding RING finger protein, Topoisomerase I-binding arginine/serine-rich protein, Tumor suppressor p53-binding protein 3, p53-binding protein 3, p53BP3, LUN Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the C-terminal region of human TOPORS. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human Tested Applications: WB: 1:500-1:1,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications.
