Background:

Heterochromatin protein 1-binding protein 3 (HP1BP3) is a component of heterochromatin, and may be involved in chromatin structure and function. It is found in the nucleus and chromosome, and may interact with CBX5. HP1BP3 contains 3 H15 (linker histone H1/H5 globular) domains. It is phosphorylated upon DNA damage, probably by ATM or ATR.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human HP1BP3. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. 

Storage Buffer and Condition:

Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN₃. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt.
