R1470-1 - ARRB1 (N) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted | Observed MW: 47 kDa Uniprot ID: P49407 Background: Beta-arrestin-1 (ARRB1) is a cytosolic protein that belongs to the arrestin family. Beta arrestins function in regulating agonist-mediated G-protein coupled receptor (GPCR) signaling by mediating both receptor desensitization and resensitization processes. It is involved in IL8-mediated granule release in neutrophils. Beta-arrestin-1 acts as a cofactor in the beta-adrenergic receptor kinase (BARK) mediated desensitization of beta-adrenergic receptors. Besides the central nervous system, it is expressed at high levels in peripheral blood leukocytes, and thus the BARK/beta-arrestin system is believed to play a major role in regulating receptor-mediated immune functions. Other Names: Beta-arrestin-1, Arrestin beta-1, ARR1 Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with GST-fusion proteins containing the N-terminal region of human ARRB1, and provided as whole antiserum. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied as whole rabbit serum containing 30% Glycerol and 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20oC. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human Tested Applications: WB: 1:1,000-1:5,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications.
