R0837-2 - SOX9 (M) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted | Observed MW: 56 | 70 kDa Uniprot ID: P48436 Background: Transcription factor SOX-9 is a nucleic protein that plays an important role in the normal skeletal development. SOX9 contains 1 HMG box DNA-binding domain. It acts during chondrocyte differentiation and, with steroidogenic factor 1, regulates transcription of the anti-Muellerian hormone (AMH) gene. Defects in SOX9 are the cause of campomelic dysplasia (CMD1) and 46,XX sex reversal type 2 (SRXX2). Other Names: Transcription factor SOX-9 Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the middle region of human SOX9. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human Tested Applications: WB: 1:500-1:1,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications. Product Data: Fig 1. Western blot of total cell extracts from human HepG2, using (A) Ab (R0837-2) and (B) Ab (R0837-3) at RT for 2 h. |
