Background:

Zinc finger protein 185 (ZNF185) may function as a tumor-suppressor protein by associating with the actin-cytoskeleton. Zinc-finger proteins bind nucleic acids and play important roles in various cellular functions, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. ZNF185 encodes a LIM-domain zinc finger protein. The LIM domain is composed of two contiguous zinc finger domains, separated by a two-amino acid residue hydrophobic linker. The LIM domain mediates protein:protein interactions.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the middle region of human ZNF185. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.
