Background:

Neurogenic locus notch homolog protein 4 (NOTCH4) is a single pass membrane protein that belongs to the NOTCH family. NOTCH4 functions as a receptor for membrane-bound ligands Jagged1, Jagged2 and Delta1 to regulate cell-fate determination. NOTCH4 is cleaved upon ligand activation and the notch intracellular domain (NICD) is released, which forms a transcriptional activator complex with RBPJ/RBPSUH to activate genes of the enhancer of split locus. It affects the implementation of differentiation, proliferation and apoptotic programs.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the C-terminal region of human NOTCH4. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.
