R0923-1 - DTX3L (M) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted | Observed MW: 84 | 120 kDa Uniprot ID: Q8TDB6 Background: E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase (DTX3L) belongs to the Deltex family. DTX3L is a ubiquitin ligase that mediates monoubiquitination of 'Lys-91' of histone H4 (H4K91ub1) in response to DNA damage. DTX3L protects cells exposed to DNA-damaging agents. The exact role of H4K91ub1 in DNA damage response is still unclear but it may function as a licensing signal for additional histone H4 post-translational modifications such as H4 'Lys-20' methylation (H4K20me). DTX3L is involved in the recruitment of 53BP1/TP53BP1 to sites of DNA damage by mediating H4K91ub1 formation. Other Names: E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase DTX3L, BBAP, B-lymphoma- and BAL-associated protein, Protein deltex-3-like, Rhysin-2, Rhysin2 Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the middle region of human DTX3L. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human, Mouse Tested Applications: WB: 1:500-1:2,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications.
