R1818-1 - NKX2-3 (N1) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted | Observed MW: 38 kDa Uniprot ID: Q8TAU0 Background: Homeobox protein Nkx-2.3 (NKX2-3) is a member of the NKX family of homeodomain-containing transcription factors, which are implicated in many aspects of cell type specification and maintenance of differentiated tissue functions. Six members of the NKX2 subfamily are known in mice, three of them are expressed predominantly in neuro-ectoderm and tissues derived thereof (NKX2.1, NKX2.2 and NKX2.9) and three in cells derived from mesendoderm and mesoderm (NKX2.3, NKX2.5 and NKX2.6). Targeted disruption of the NKX2.3 gene in mice results in anatomical defects of intestine and secondary lymphoid organs. Other Names: Homeobox protein Nkx-2.3, Homeobox protein NK-2 homolog C, NKX23, NKX2C Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human NKX2-3. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human, Mouse Tested Applications: WB: 1:500-1:2,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications. Product Data: Fig 1. Western blot of total cell extractsfrom mouse thymus, using Ab (R1818-1) at RT for 2 h. |
