Background:

Retinoblastoma binding protein 5 (RBBP5) is a nuclear protein that belongs to a subfamily of WD-repeat proteins.  It binds directly to the retinoblastoma protein and regulates cell proliferation.  It interacts preferentially with the underphosphorylated retinoblastoma protein via the E1A-binding pocket B.  RBBP5 is also known to complex with MLL1/MLL, which plays a role in methylation and dimethylation at Lys-4 of histone H3.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human RBBP5. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.

Storage Buffer and Condition:
