Background:

Solute carrier organic anion transporter family member 4A1 (SLCO4A1) is a multi-pass membrane protein that belongs to the organo anion transporter family. SLCO4A1 contains 1 Kazal-like domain and mediates the Na⁺-independent transport of organic anions such as the thyroid hormones T3 (triiodo-L-thyronine), T4 (thyroxine) and rT3, and of estrone-3-sulfate and taurocholate.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the C-terminal region of human SLCO4A1. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.
