Background:

Signal transducer and activator of transcription 5B (STAT5B) belongs to the transcription factor STAT family. STAT5B carries out a dual function: signal transduction and activation of transcription. STAT5B is tyrosine phosphorylated in response to signaling via activated KIT, resulting in its translocation to the nucleus, where it binds to the GAS element in DNA and activates PRL-induced transcription. STAT5B mediates cellular responses to the cytokine KITLG/SCF and other growth factors. Defects in STAT5B are the cause of growth hormone insensitivity with immunodeficiency (GHII).

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the C-terminal region of human STAT5B. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. 

Storage Buffer and Condition:
