M0002-1 - IL-17A (N) Antibody, Mouse Monoclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB, ELISA
Predicted M.W.: 17.5 kDa Uniprot ID: Q16552
Isotype: mouse IgG1 Clone: 7A7
Background:
IL-17A is a proinflammatory cytokine produced by activated T cells. IL-17A is found both in glycosylated and nonglycosylated forms. IL-17A regulates the activities of NF-kappaB and mitogen-activated protein kinases, and it can stimulate the expression of IL6 and cyclooxygenase-2 (PTGS2/COX-2), as well as enhance the production of nitric oxide (NO). High levels of this cytokine are associated with several chronic inflammatory diseases including rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis and multiple sclerosis.
Other Names:
Cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated antigen 8, CTLA-8, IL-17
Source and Purity:
Mouse monoclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human IL-17A. Antibodies were purified by Caprylic Acid- Ammonium Sulfate precipitation.
Storage Buffer and Condition:
Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 40% Glycerol, 0.02% Thimerosal. Store at -20 °C. Stable for at least 6 months from date of receipt.
Species Specificity:
Human
Tested Applications:
WB: 1:1,000-1:5,000 (detect recombinant protein)
ELISA: 1:1,000- 1:10,000 (detect native recombinant protein in a direct ELISA assay).
Suitable for using as ELISA capture or detection antibody.
