R0019-1 - PIASx (C) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted M.W.: 68 kDa Uniprot ID: O75928 Background: PIASx is a member of the PIAS [protein inhibitor of activated STAT (signal transducer and activator of transcription)] family of transcriptional modulators. PIASx functions as an E3 small ubiquitin-like modifier (SUMO) ligase. It stabilizes the interaction between UBE2I and the substrate, and functions as a SUMO-tethering factor. PIASx plays an important role in transcriptional regulation of numerous cellular pathways, including the STAT pathway and the p53 pathway. Other Names: MGC102682, MIZ1, PIASX, PIAS2, PIASX-BETA, SIZ2, ZMIZ4, miz Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the C-ternimal region of human PIASxa. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human, Mouse Tested Applications: WB: 1:1,000-1:5,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications. Product Data: Fig 1. Western blot of total cell extracts from (A) human Jurkat with control siRNA, (B) human Jurkat with PIASx siRNA, (C) mouse testis, (D) human Jurkat, using Abs (R0019-1 for A-C; or M0005-1 for D) at RT for 2 h. |
