R0914-2 - DEDD (N2) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted | Observed MW: 37 | 40 kDa Uniprot ID: O75618
Background: Death effector domain-containing protein (DEDD) is a scaffold protein that directs CASP3 to certain substrates and facilitates their ordered degradation during apoptosis. DEDD may also play a role in mediating CASP3 cleavage of KRT18. DEDD regulates degradation of intermediate filaments during apoptosis. In addition, DEDD may play a role in the general transcription machinery in the nucleus and might be an important regulator of the activity of GTF3C3. Other Names: Death effector domain-containing protein, DEDPro1, Death effector domain-containing testicular molecule, FLDED-1, DEDPRO1, DEFT, Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human DEDD. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human, Mouse Tested Applications: WB: 1:1,000-1:3,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications. Product Data: Fig 1. Western blot of total cell extracts from (A) mouse brain, (B) human HeLa; using anti-DEDD (N2) (R0914-2) at RT for 2 h.
